This is me...

I was thinking last night. I think of all the things I have to do and what not.
I am a wife , a mother, a sister, a daughter, a step daughter, a grand daughter, a niece, a cousin, a friend,a sister in law, daughter in law and friend.  I am funny, sweet, cranky, boring at times, i can be organized, i am mostly dis organized, i like to have fun but , find myself boring more times than not.  my kids think i'm awesome when they don't think i'm being mean lol, I am compassionate, and at times hard, i'm emotional, i can be weak that is why my husband is my rock.  I think of all these roles I have a responsibility to.  There are ones that take priority to others. I live my life the best I can and there are times I let one of these responsibilities slip.  There are days that I am lazy and don't want any of them. I am blessed to have them all.  But the one I never want to falter is my greatest responsibility a debt that I myself can never repay. A debt that was made years before I was a thought. A debt so great that I am constantly humbled by. A man who did no wrong in his life. The son of the Almighty Great I am . He hung on a cross for the sins I had not yet committed. So as I tell you my greatest role in my life remember that this may be your goal in life. Maybe , you are on the fence about certain issues. The role in my life that is what I strive for, that i breathe for, that I would give everything up for. The only  thing in my life that keeps me going on the days that I want to give up , throw in the towel. The one role in my life that has given me life eternal.  I am a daughter not just any daughter I am daughter of the Great King, the Lord of Lords, the King of all Kings. I was washed clean the day I took him into my heart.  I put my faith in someone I have never met. I have never touched his robes . I have never seen his face.  I have never breathed his scent. I have felt his arms, I have felt his presence , I have seen his miracles everyday in my life.  I have witnessed his great comforting. I am a daughter of the King. I don't take this role lightly. I strive to love others with the love he showed this sinner. I have messed up and will again. But, I know that when this world is cruel , cold and unforgiving of my tresspasses. My father forgives me . When this world is unloving and distant. I am resting in his hands. When the world lets me fall and get dirty. He carries me in his mighty arms, he cleans me and shows me his greatness. When noone in this world wants to listen. He always listens to my struggles, my heartaches, my pain, my successes, my dreams, and my prayers for the future. He guides me in my life. He helps me be a wife and mother. He has supplied me with all that I need. He shows me beauty in a world that has so much ugliness to offer.
I am daughter to the King.  He has made me a princess not by a simple prayer but by providing me with grace.  He has stood by my side when the world turned their back on me. When I had nothing to offer Him but a sin filled life. He took me and showed me his awesomeness.  When I couldn't find words he gave them to me. When I couldn't find love He provided me with undying love.  I am a daughter to the King. That is the best role he has provided me with . And I will boast in him until the day that he brings me home. When I stand in his presence I pray that my father the King looks at me and says my daughter, my princess job well done.  I pray that with all that he has given me I can share with my children. I pray for them to be mighty sons of the King. That they see him for what he is. I pray they take his hand and walk with him. I want to leave a legacy for my future grandchildren , great grand children. My children and my husband are mine to teach and show Gods love through. I am a daughter to the King and that is a great responsibility and a role that should not be taken lightly. God has been good to me through the hard times and good. I will forever be in debt to the mighty Father that sent his son. His son , his only son to die on the cross for a daughter not yet born. When he hung on that cross my sins and my name were on his lips and in his mind. He gave himself for me. I pray that I make him proud in my choices, and my words, and in my actions.
Today as I sit here typing this I have a list of things a mile long to do . I wanted to take this time and praise and boast of my King....my father.

Making a plan , when your just not sure

Well, my husband and I have been talking about moving for o, I would say 5 years now. Everytime I think we are close I get excited and yell it from the roof tops........and then we don't lol. We are talking again, praying that the loose ends get tied and we get the little and big stuff going. It is hard thinking about leaving somewhere you grew up , everyone knows you and has gotten used to you and your personality lol.. I have a light hearted personality to say the least. Well, in public I guess haha. I am hoping and praying that this time we get to go. How exciting a true family adventure. New people, new places. Different opprutunities to share God's love to other people. But, the downside. I am leaving my family who has always been there for me, always had my back. Whom I love dearly and will always treasure the wisdom they have shared with me. But I have a chance of making my husband happier and possibly having a great relationship with his children. Well, I got 2 hungry boys I must go feed

The Curse of the Church Lady Face/life

Wow, what a month this has been. Today, I am just feeling down and out, truly I hate feeling this way. God has showed me so many wonders in my life. He has provided many great things for me and my family. Then why am I feeling alone, and depressed. To see me at church or out and about with the boys noone would know. I feel like a liar sometimes. I put on the "CHURCH LADY FACE" I use the Christian F word.....and I use it with not one ounce of shame. Ask me how everything is and I will say that F word to your face...shaming really. I will tell you I am Fine...everything is Fine...that F word is so easy to use. But, why when I have a loving Church family , family, friends do I feel the need to do that. There have been many times that someone has asked me how life was and I just wanted to let it all out tell everything that is going on , what I am struggling with , what my husband or kids are struggling with. Why my life is so horrible (lol). Spill the beans on all the people that have done me wrong this time. But, I have said one word that I feel people almost expect I am Fine. I am a cheerful person, laughing , smiling all the time. But, there are days that as I am laughing , smiling, joking I feel like I am dying inside. I do feel better in the fact that I know that I am not alone in doing that. I'm not saying that God messed up when he planned my life. No, these are my choices. God, is carrying me through the times that I want to throw in the towel. The times when I don't want to get out of bed, the times when the shower just seems too much, the times that I want to just tell the boys that they will just have to educate themselves (which by the way would include educational material from the rugrats). I have faith that HE will pull me out of this funk I am finding my self in.. I am just feeling pulled in so many directions anymore. My husband who has been struggling with life as well wants to leave the state. A good wife would have her bags packed and ready to roll. Part of me is but then my family wants us to stay (for good reason), his dad would be devastated. When I think about the what if's if something were to happen to someone what would we do. Are we going to be ok, what if he loses his job down there (florida) what will happen to us. Just so many thoughts runing across my mind...I am ready to run, but what am I running into. Sure, we would be with us just our family . I would get to meet more people share God's love with others. Which I would absolutely love. I am horrible at this. I really should just close my eyes plug my nose and just dive in. How do I do that ? How do I throw our life up here out and start a new life somewhere else? i feel better just spewing this out for the world to see.
God watch over me and my family , please help us make a decision that will be the right one. Praying for your will.

The 7 year itch

WOW, so on Saturday my hubby and I will be celebrating 7 years of marriage. Its funny when I think back to the day we were married. I stayed the night at my best friend's / maid of honor, and we watched movies as I was stressing over my vows....But lets give you an overview of the events leading up to my impromptu wedding nuptials. It started a week before we were married, I get the call from my mother telling me that my grammother wanted to throw us a wedding...OK, yeah that sounds so romantic. I was 8 months pregnant with our first child Isaac . We wanted to get married before he was born. I know we did it a little backwards but well, we did. We had been talking about how we could get married. Money was tight (hmm...kinda still is lol) I told him that Isaac would be an Orr from birth (if not married the child will have my last name on his wrist band) so , when I got this call my wedding planning kicked in high gear. (OK, so i might have already had it planned since i was about 4) I had some ideas....but when you only have a week that is all you get...So, anyways I spent the week trying to get everything pulled together all while being 8 months pregnant and still working. My dad and gramma and smom couldn't be here in time, they were still in Florida. That was the most devastating event. My dad whom I love very much would not get to walk me down the aisle. So, I was shopping and planning, calling the close family that we had up here to let them know of our plans. I was elated to say the least...Jacob and I were GETTING MARRIED....IS THIS REAL? yeah , that was really going through my head . I wore a lovely black skirt and the only blue shirt from Fashion Bug that would fit me( I WAS HUGE)...I got my very own suite...at...are you ready for this.....are you sure...I got married to the love of my life at the..wait for it....super 8 on rt 8 south , Butler PA . In the conference room. HAHAHA. sorry I find it amusing. So, moving on...at least I got the bridal suite...lol..as I'm getting ready with all the women I proceeded to tell everyone how much I loved my mother in law but sometimes I wanted to flush her head in a toilet....yeah....it's now forever recorded on video. I truly love her..she went to God about 5 years ago. She treated me like a daughter. I walked down the aisle with my mother to my groom and an awesome preacher. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Even though it was nothing like my 3 year old brain pictured. But, I married my husband. I can remember what I was thinking that day....
I HAD TO PEE SO BAD...haha...not what you were thinking huh? Did you catch the part that I was 8 months pregnant with my wired first born who continuously kicked my bladder. So thank you for hanging in there...I dedicate this post to my husband...he has taught me many lessons throughout our marriage. Love has its ups and downs and major bumps...but it is well worth the ride. Thank you Jacob for learning about love , trust and loyalty and being able to learn these lessons by your side. I love you.

Life lessons according to Spongebob Squarepants

Well, as many of you know I am the mother of 2 little boys. With the blessing
of motherhood has also sent me a lesson in one of the
most (personally speaking here) annoying and insanely addictive shows.
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS.
Yes, I know this controversial show (to some) is where I have learned
some life lessons.
Let us start, with that greedy, red crustacean Mr. Krabbs.
You see this "shelfish" (yes, this is my attempt at being amusing) ,
little crab teaches us that there is more
to life than money. You don't really see him suffering other than the time
he lost 2 arms when he dropped his lovely dime down a drain.
Matthew 6:21
"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Now ,Mr. Krabbs seems to have everything, a thriving business, all the money ,
and faithful friends and apparently staff. But, he is so self absorbed in making the green stuff, that he doesn't care who he hurts. (I am referring to the episode where he sells the soul of his most faithful employee Mr. Squarepants to the ever frightening Flying Dutchman for a measly 62 cents)
Let us move on, Mr. Squidward. Wow, he just amazes me in how cold he can be to others around him....This is what self absorption will get you....when you care about no one, how miserable you will become. We are to love one another as Christ has loved us. Mr. Squidward you have taught me to put others ahead of me, I would hate to be so obsessed with myself I wouldn't see the kindness and love that others are showing me.
Finally, we are getting to the grand finale....the major star of the show. Mr. Spongebob Squarepants. I think that if i could pick one character to be it would have to be him. Spongebob is a loyal friend, patient and always thinking of others. Now, come on how many of us would have a friend like Sir. Patrick and not want to rip our hair out. Alas Spongebob sticks by his friend and thinks not of himself. He also shows many times not to give up. Yes, I am referring to the episode where he is trying to be a good neighbor to sir Squidward. This yellow sea sponge that has a plethora of talents shows loyalty to all new heights.
Sponge bob reminds me of one of the many lessons that God teaches us on life....

4Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;b 6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

8Love never ends.

1 Corinthians 13 4-8

How much patience Spongebob has shown others. Even though no one shows him much. I have never heard Spongebob be boastful or envious. I only see joy and happiness when I look at this lesson teacher. Other than the few times that he has lost his temper, he has shown great love and joy. So many times could he bring up all the wrong that was done to him but he does not...maybe in this highly confusing at times show we could learn a few lessons if we look past the idiocy and mistreatment of poor Spongebob.

Now to make my witty statement at the end that will make you ponder life and all that God has to offer.......

Hmmm...I really don't...

I think that maybe we could be a lil more like Spongebob and overlook some of the wrongs that people do to us. To show God's love through our actions. To be a little bit more easy to please. A little bit more joyful in our serving of others and of Savior Jesus Christ. He was the definition of love, understanding, faithfulness and above all he was , is and always will be the main definition of Sacrifice. For although we may be Christians but we are also sinners cleaned and purified by the blood of the Lamb sent by God. To show us how much he loved us and cared for us he spread the arms of his only son on that cross and to show us that his arms are always going to be open to sinners like me. His arms were nailed that way. I am truly in love , with the one who gave it all for me. When he died on that Cross my sins were at his feet.

God Bless, love you all

please do not check my grammar, i am writing about Spongebob here i'm not a perfect writer.

Am I a Human grown up yet?

Well , we moved out of my father in laws house a couple months ago. And well normally grown husband and wife would have moved into their own place. Well, I am hoping that God just doesn't want us on our own because we moved into my grammothers. We moved for reasons I just cannot post online. So as we are here over the holidays which were awesome. Jacob's father has asked that we come back and fix up the basement of the house as ours.......You know sometimes in a womans life a momma's life, a wife's life you just pray for your own space. I have even found myself praying that the army will draft Jacob (he used to want to be in the armed forces his want not mine) but I just have this need to be June Cleaver somewhere of my own. My own living room, kitchen, food, bedroom. But, i do not feel it is in my life plan. We , for some reason keep getting pulled back. Now we are not financially secure and we cannot afford our own place. Jacob has been moved down to part time AGAIN. he is on midnight shift AGAIN. So the comfort level of living with someone who is home at night is comforting...but still at 29 years old you would think that you know, we would have the house , 2 cars, life insurance you know all that responsible stuff that you should have before you turn *gulp* 30 years old. And when things don't follow your line you don't yet feel like a grown up yet. You feel like people look down on you because of how you live....and that is sad....I pray my sons go to a good college, get a good education, find awesome jobs (would be great if they were missionaries or president but i will keep my dreams for them)...I pray my sons find awesome and great wives that support them. I pray they get the house across the street from us....But above all I pray that they give God all their faith, hopes and dreams. This is where i tie all those loose ends in here at the end lol....I am almost *gulp* 30 years old, I am going to move into my father in laws basement (you know maybe that is cool because now i feel alot younger), I have 2 boys that i raise in the arms of Jesus Christ, I homeschool, I stay at home, I support my husband in the choices that he makes for his family....I know that God has us..and because of something silly like a living condition, well I'm just thankful that we have a roof over our heads, family that care and love us , a God who got this and is almighty, I know God's will , will be done in my life, as my husbands, and my boys. That is what i pray each and every night. I get overwhelmed, depressed , angry at times . But, i trust in my Savior not to look down on me in disappointment , I am his daughter, the princess of a great and mighty King who so got this.....
well until next time
God bless

New Years makes you think

I am currently sitting here with a cousin and my 2 boys watching spongebob. Really bringing in the new year here.... But, i am thinking about this past year , how many smiles were shared, tears were shed, the hurts, the accomplishments, the joys that have happened. I have been blessed in my walk with my Savior...Jacob and I have had our setbacks throughout this year only to be stronger than we were before the setbacks. I know this is the man that God has put on this earth for me. My boys are making great strides in school, yes we are still fighting Isaac but mostly with his writing lol... Lucas is having fun being bad haha....So as this year ends i think about what I want to happen this year and realiize it will be God's will he will guide me and protect me like he has for the past 29 years....I will turn 30 this year that is a big accomplishment lol....so as i ponder lifes lessons....i am making resolutions this year...my first year in a long time
1. I will quit smoking..i am so tired of being held in this bondage to these little smelly things
2. i will be more organized with myself...with as many electronics as i have i should never forget anything
3. i am getting into the word of my Savior more and more...with out his instruction manual
4. i am going to be a better mom, i am going to remind myself that my children are my gift from God and are true examples of his power to perform mighty miracles
5. i am determined to make my husband happy and satisified..i know he is going through hard times and i am completly in love with this man that was sent to me
6. i am going to be more diligent in my homeschooling, and lesson plans, and teaching more interestingly
7. I am going to let myself feel loved by my father and let him show me his love
8. I am going to start writing my book, i am bound and determined to have God speak to me and pass his words onto others who need to hear them.
9. i want help with the co op and be a benefit to them
10. i want to chill out a little bit more and not be so paranoid.

So those are the 10 things i want to accomplish in this year coming..for me and God and my family and most of all my children. I want to be a better daughter to my kind and honor him in all i do and all the choices i make this year and beyond...I want to be a better example for my children and husband. I hope i inspire someone to go to the King who will provide them comfort when they hit rock bottom, to catch them when they fall, to love them when noone else will.....This year will be for Him the GREAT I AM ,
God Bless
have a wonderful and safe new year

I can't seem to remember....

I can never seem to remember to keep up with my blog,
I am so sure that all the other big bloggers never forget lol.
Well, we finished up school first of May and will be starting back July 11, maybe 18.
I have decieded to have school Monday through Thursday and have Friday for a free day
we will be having co-op on Fridays in fall..which I am so excited about. This blogger
will be teaching elementary children sign language...beginners, because i am not that much better.
I think that all children should learn a bit of sign language, they teach french, german, and spanish. But so many can not communicate with english speaking deaf...I am excited about that.
Other big news....hmmm...doesn't seem to be any.
Jacob is still working Thank God for that, our families are still insane ...love them but they are
I think it is healthy to have a little be of insanity in us all. It keeps things interesting.
I have been working on my lesson plans for the school year, i have to get the school room looking sharp. Then in August we are going to Florida for my cousins wedding. I am so excited to see my family from down there. We don't get to see them much, Thank God for Face book i would never get to talk to them.
Well that is all for now i have to get supper started..then off to Bible school for Isaac, Lucas just flat out refuses to stay lol..o well maybe next year!!

The Child God has blessed me with

Well, yesterday was Isaac's first time at cubscouts. ?I am the mother of a lion scout. I was very proud of this little gift from God. He had such a great time with other boys. He actually behaved himself. I prayed extra hard for that one. He was answering questions. He was not shy in the least bit. Although , I didn't realize that when we do our lessons I have never had him raise his hand.

Until last night ugh....so that is now part of our lessons..
Speaking of which, our lessons went so well. We learned about lions. Being as though we
are watching Madagascar 2 (aka the move it move it movie) like every single night
I mean EVERY SINGLE night. So, me being the awesome homeschooling momma....
ok, i was tired of fighting with him and his math and writing. So , we just watched some videos on lions and read about them. Kind of a shock for them after watching alex and the zebra marty
being best friends on the movie....yeah..well....they learnned today that not all cartoon
disney movies are real.....but in same sentence they are boys so the loved watching the
feeding habits of lions...haha...ok, so moving right along here...

I am going to attempt to redo my blog to fit my personality better, HEY who knows
if someone sees my blog with a new background and a bunch of cool things on it..I might just might get another reader. oops, on a sidenote...MOM, i love that you are my fan..and actually read this completly disorganized blog of mine..
another feature I really want to do is homeschooling something or another, maybe something that will help others...oooo...and a memory verse that my church gives out every sunday.
I might be the next big blogger and even bring in .20 cents from my adsense...ok, i best be going ...i don't feel healthy right now, just picturing myself talking to myself haha..
God Bless you all

Thank you Jesus for the day you are giving me, God bless those poor people in Haiti
They need you , and after hearing them singing your praises at night , when they are scared
they love you sweet Lord..
Amen

Life, Praising, Cooking and best of all cleaning.....

I just finished watching the movie Julie, Julia. ..... I absolutely loved the movie. I love all the cooking I loved watching a woman that I want to find out more about (Julia Child's). My interest is peaked. Before I delve into my witty , cunning and smart comments on the movie I must share a little tidbit of news...I have quit my job. Yes, my loyal readers (ok, just my mom prob) I am now a stay at home mom with a twist. ?I am helping my father with his business. I get the fun jobs of doing the books...fun right...But, my children get to come with me and it is only 12 hours a week to help with the bills. Anyways now that's all cleared up and in the open. Back to my extremely cute and funny thoughts about my life after watching this movie. Needless to say , my interest was peaked. I love to cook ( I am currently on my 3rd consecutive year of finishing my cookbook). I love baking (really I do), But, it seems that I can never find the time that others do for my hobbies. I have a home, a husband, children My sweet God that needs worshiped all the time, I have a house that needs so much work ....did you know to keep a house looking good you HAVE to clean it EVERY DAY!!...Thank goodness I knew this from watching my grammother clean everyday..If I had to learn this from TV I would have been in shock that my house didn't clean itself everyday. I home school every day 2 little boys that fight me tooth and nail. I have a father in law and a husband , that's right girls , think you mother in laws are bad,,, live with them and then turn them in to men...hahahaha...I would love to spend my days in the kitchen cooking wonderful meals with all kinds of ingredients , but refer to previous statement I live with 2 men and 2 boys...all we like to eat are meat and potatoes...ugh....there are only so many ways to cook potatoes....Tonight we had a delectable meal of toasted cheese (smothered in lovely Aldis's butta....with creamy Borden's cheese inside, with the most soft pantry bread. see that sounds yummy right....ugh..I really want all of that fancy food...although judging by the size of pants I wear you would think I eat the good stuff right...nope ,,, just eat a bunch of the crummy stuff...I want to find the time to make wonderful meals that bring my family to the table. I would love to have a party at my house with tons of people drooling over the smells of my house..wondering how I did all of this AND have perfect little boys that are genius's PLUS have a happy husband and a spotless house and get to volunteer for the Church all the time...I would love to have my church call me up for duty to God to make my peanut butter creme pie with homemade chocolate Oreo crust..or to make something amazing.....
Well, my children are revolting against momma writing her wonderful , life changing blogs....
I guess for now i must be happy with my toasted cheese and tomato soup..
God Bless all of you
and please before I go
pray for the people in Haiti, these people are suffering while I am writing this blog about all of the selfish things that I want in life like superb food and what not..and they would be happy with the can of beans i hat in my cabinet....
Please dear Jesus touch these people and their loved ones, give them comfort, give them nourishment, help them sweet merciful Savior....hold them in your arms..show them your love
amen

Well, folks welcome to 2010....a new year full of new chances. We brought in the new year as a family plus Jake's friend Matt. Who with jimmy seems that I now have 4 husbands. My children were excited to not have a bedtime for one time a year. I how ever was ready to tell them at 9pm was the new year. I did not. I am ready for a New Year. I am a person who thinks magically for example it is my thought that my sons will quit picking their noses, that they will quit talking about poop, poopy heads, and boob will no longer be their favorite words to throw out in conversations with adults that I run into at the store who also happen to go to church with....aaaa magical thinking. I will be more disciplined in this new year to sitting down and finishing a project if only one gets done this year , hmm like balancing my check book. I will do things realistically like knowing I will only balance it one time that is my goal . I will think that my husband and I after being parents for 5 years now will have a bed to ourselves with no feet in our faces, no bodies laying between us...just me and my man.....I believe that there will be no wwe wrestling in our living room EVERY night of the week. One day my children will look at me and say "momma, it is 8 pm may we please go to bed now..no ..we don't want to watch a movie tonight just shut off the lights so that we may go to sleep"....my husband thinks that i have too much of an imagination....(i have faith that God will smile on a couple of these things and make them happen hehe)....I do have alot I want to get done this year ..same as last year but see like most popular cell phone plans..mine roll over into the new year..so that if i don't get them all done they will be here for the new year...like roll over minutes..
well my husband has just gotten back from braving the big bad and scary grocery store on his own i must go make sure he needs no first aide
again
God Bless

Wow, God has blessed me with another year with my amazing husband and wild but wonderful sons. We have had some lows , we have had some highs. You truly cannot hit rock bottom when God is holding you in his arms. I have decide that i want to blog more . Then put together all my blogs and write a book haha. That would be great the entire family would then be kissing butt. But this blog is going to be about my past year. We have had a couple losses this year. First, Gramma Orr she has went to be with the Lord in March. We were expecting this. She had been in the hospital since before Thanksgiving with congestive heart failure. The weird thing is every year it seemed that she was in there. Now, about gramma Orr she was a strong woman who loved children. there were times that she drove me up a wall, but when she was in the hospital we had told here we had to move out of our house, because the lovely landlord sold it. She just looked at me and asked me if we were coming back home (my father in laws house). She was a loving and caring woman who i did admire and love very much. The other death we have had is Jacob's brother Toby who was only 25...he had gotten out of jail on a Thursday and passed away on Saturday night Sunday morning. Toby was one of those guys that could out talk a woman...haha..i truly loved him...he had his flaws but he did have good qualities she was funny, caring he had a 2 year old lil girl...it was so hard on everyone here, of course his father who is still muddling through but doing better each day thanks only to an amazing God. There have been positive and joyful times this year. Jacob and I have become members to the most amazing church. Harvest community church we absolutely love this church and our amazing church family. Please visit their sit at www.harvestpa.org and listen to our great preacher(s) preach the amazing word of our savior. We had the children dedicated this year. Which in itself was wonderful. I cannot talk enough about the amazing love of our Savior who gave his life for me and you so that we may be washed clean. I started a job in may in a personal care home where I have met people that are so wiling to share about their past. God has blessed me with this job. O and after a year and 1 month my husband has found a wonderful job and I was blessed enough to be able to cut my hours at work. The boys are doing great in school (at home) Isaac is now working at a 1st grade math level and has passed his addition test and now working on subtraction and putting his letters together and making words..Lucas is such a goofball he does anything for a laugh, which has made him a little difficult to teach haha. God has blessed my family with his love and adoration. Our savior never ceases to amaze me with his love and works. I am looking into doing alot this year for the new years resolution, i have decided to do it opposite . every year i make the same resolutions.
1. be a more Godly woman and mother and wife
2. read my bible more
3. lose weight
4. quit smoking a biggie with me
5. be more appreciative of what God has given me
so this year i am doing things different
1. not putting God first, be a horrible mother and wife
2. never read my bible
3. gain so much weight i cannot fit into the car
4. smoke 2 packs a day
5. never be greatful to God
I figure if i made it like this then i can accomplish the first set lol....
so all in all goodbye 2009 it has been a year of sorrow and joy
hello and welcome 2010 can't wait what is in store for the Orr clan
and last but not least
THANK YOU TO MY LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST FOR MAKING THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE JUST FOR ME. YOUR DAUGHTER WHO IS A SINNER...BUT BECAUSE OF YOU I AM CLEAN..I RAISE MY HANDS TO PRAISE YOU O LORD.

HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MAY YOUR YEAR BE FULL OF BLESSINGS FROM OUR SAVIOR.

The craziness of the unperfect homeschooler

wow ... that describes me to a T. We have been homeschooling for around 1.2 years. We started when Isaac was 4. He is now kindergarten and Lucas is 3 year preschool. I had things scheduled how things would flow, details are my friend and my enemy! Well we are in our 3rd week of homeschooling and have missed a total of 3 days. He is still ahead of public school kindergarten. But like today I had bible study took the boys with me and let my hubby sleep. My sister in law and 3 kids and hubby have to be out of their house by the end of the month, so i was ready to head over there for a couple hours to help pack. Well , we didn't have to. But , i had to clean the bathroom , bedroom, kitchen, and liviing room , i didn't even get to my room yet. There is so much to do on a day off.. they def. should never call them days off. Espically if you are a homeschooling mother wife and every other role we as women have in our lives. My sister in law will be moving in with us. The house is busting at the seems... I love her , her husband and her wonderful 3 children. I do , I still need some prayers. So back to the homeschooling imperfection. I had this WHOLE plan on how everything would work out. I got the worksheets , art supplies, science things that look great....We say our pledges to the flag, the bible and the christian flag...we got our letters and their sounds, we got our addition and subtraction....yeah it looks great in my mind and on paper calanders. Now when you get to the nitty gritty of it I have an overactive 5 year old and a monkey for a 3 year old. We go to the school room and work for o ,15 minutes and then they want break, can we have cookies, hey momma are we done yet...can we just do math. I pray for my sanity every day. I my friends am reluctant to admit. I am an unperfect homeschooler, but i will continue to teach my children at home. I never have to worry what they are learning , i never have to find out they are learning something at school that disagrees with our all mighty savior God. I will be there for them they are right where they belong at home with their momma. I will be posting pictures of a day in the life of an unperfect homeschooler.
God bless til next time

The school year shall begin!!!!

Well, it has been such a long time since my last post.
It has been crazy and hectic in the Orr household. I have had to return to the
workforce...hence the fact this will be a short blog. I have to be up in about 6 hours....
I have been getting Isaac's school year ready along with preschool items for lucas 3 yr preschool.
It is hard , my baby Isaac is starting kindergarten, I have been working hard on the curriculum.
I am doing a more 1st grade instead of Kindergarten because he is above on most and on target with the reading and writing. He is still being insane but we are starting our school on September 8 , 2009. it has been pushed back many times, due to well, anything and everything.
i will post more tomorrow and let you know what we have been up to and what we have planned.
God bless all of you
love in God

Another bundle of boy and then we have four

Wow, it is hard to believe it has been almost 3 years since we brought this little man home...

Well , here is his story. After having Isaac, Jacob and I talked about the risks of having another baby. I am talking about alot of TALKING. We had reached our decision of having my tubes tied..Jacob didn't want to watch me go through another miscarriage or have to raise little Isaac without a momma. So, I agreed . Ihad my gall bladder out beginning of October 2005, and made an appointment with the wonderful Dr. England. I go in before my surgery and sign the papers for the tubule. You have to wait a month between signing the papers and making the appointment for the surgery. So, I have my surgery, and November 10th I believe, I go in for my dr. appointment to find out THAT I AM PREGNANT...I AM PREGNANT.. lol..that is how it was too.. the thing is I already kind of knew that. Jacob, to say the least was shocked, well as shocked as he can get.

So, we were pregnant. We were not getting our tubes tied at this moment. I of course, was scared to death. I mean we just spent 2 years talking about miscarriages, death, stillbirths, and raising Isaac with no momma. To say the least i was a little freaked out. Then, a thought came into my head. If God wanted me to have this baby , I'm so not fighting with that man. Then I was wandering maybe , just maybe Iwould have my little girl. In my eyes a little girl should have an older brother ..right? So , nooone in Jacob's family was happy to say the least. I mean his mom and his dad were ok. his step dad was NOT happy..ugh another story another blog.

My family of course was scared. Lucas had no name the entire pregnancy. We just kind of called him baby. We did find out that he would be a boy. My mother in law and father in law and jacob couldn't understand why I would want to know what I was having ...I just had to laugh..I can't wait for Christmas to come..what would make anyone in their right mind think I could wait to find out what I was going to be giving birth to .. ok, back to my story,

Isaac had his name picked out pretty much as soon as we find out what he was. Poor Luke duke...I had at least 30 name books..we couldn't agree. (on a side note God didn't give us a girl because we couldn't agree on a girls name to save our lives lol..he just wanted to save our marriage).

Luke , was a harder pregnancy. As with Isaac I will not go into the gory details of the pregnancy and labor. I took my shots in the stomach, of course I fell, I had many visits to the hospital....

I will tell you that we did almost lose Lucas and myself in the delivery room. Thank God above that I went to Magee's womens hospital. Those doctors and nurses flooded my room when me and lukes vitals dropped and we crashed. God , was with my family that night.

Fast forward to when I held this 9 pound 13 ounce little man in my arms...my mother in law and I were desperatley trying to find this perfect little guy a perfect little name...She found Lucas with the meaning of "root of all light" and I thought I had the perfect middle name..to name him after Jacob.. lucas Douglas (his dad is Robert Douglas, he is Jacob Douglas ..so you get the picture right?)

My mother in law (God Rest Her Soul) asked me if I could name him completley after his daddy Lucas Jacob Orr..so there yougo folks...that is Luke's story...and we are again talking about the tubule..we have two wild and crazy boys....I want to be here when they will give me grandchildren...

Thank you God for everything you have given me...for my husband who has been my rock, my baby Isaac for being the child he is and for Lucas for being the baby he is....We love you Christ. We could never thank you enough for this family made by your hands.

Amen

Baby boy came and then there was three

Isaac...my first miracle baby

Isaac was born April 20, 2004. At 11:01 at 9 pounds 14 ounces.

My man was supposed to have been underweight...mental disabilities, physical disabiliies, that was if he would even survive. Well I am happy to say that my little man survived and came into this world screaming his little head off. He is now 5 years old (and still screaming lol).

Isaac , came after i had 3 miscarriages due to antiphosphilipid antibody syndrom. A blood clotting disorder that had claimed my 3 babies already. I would have to take 3 shots in my stomach of lovenox..and then move to heprin. I never carried a child passed 10 weeks..even with the shots. I had been with Jacob now for 3 years. There was a lot of fear at first. Isaac went 17 weeks without me taking the shots of blood thinners. He was a true blessing from God. I was working at the time for the Association for Retarted Citizens of Butler county.

The job was wonderful. I took care of 6 mentally challenged individuals ..whom I still love deeply. It got hard toward the end of the pregnancy. I was tired all the time. it was tough. I was hitting my knees thanking God when the doctor put me on short term disibility.

I will not go into the labor..lets just say the epidural wouldnt work. I had a natural delivery.

Isaac was perfect. and I will be posting infant pictures when I get them loaded up.

Isaac takes after his momma (yes that is what he still calls me). He has spirit, TONS of energy, he jumps, climbs. He has already had stitches twice now. He has had xrays twice now. Countless visits to the er for a plethora of reasons. He has had 2 ticks , (which he was so happy that he got to keep the first one ) much to momma's delight. Just so all of you konw this little man never experienced a minute of abuse...the reason for all of this...he is all boy...jumping off beds..the topof his playhouse..running and his feet getting too fast for his body. This boy scares me sometimes. I begged for permission from his doctor to be allowed to duct tape him to the couch so that he can watch 24/7 educational tv..lol...the doc said no..He is active and daring. He is also brilliant, thoughtful, funny this boy can laugh.

Before I go on any longer , let me tell you the meaning of Isaac's name and how we came up with it. Isaac's name truly means laughter , to laugh..and man he can laugh...

Now there is a story in the bible about Abraham and Sarah that prayed to God to give them a child, and God blessed them with baby Isaac. Jacob and I, although we were not ready, God was ready to give us our Isaac. That is how Isaac got his name. God does things on his own time.

God blessed us with Isaac Robert Merle . Our first miracle child.

Thank you God for your many blessings above all thank you for my husband, Isaac and Lucas.

First there was this boy and girl

That seems like an appropiate title. We really should start at the beginning.

Jacob (my husband) and I orginally met in highschool.

We were in drivers ed together, and were properly introduced by his cousin and a friend .

We were true highschool sweethearts, Jacob was wonderful.

He was so romantic, and sweet, just amazing.

Well, Jacob was really into the church scene. I was always raised in church.

So really nothing new to me and i thourouly enjoyed going.

Jacob went to church camp in june 3 months after we started dating.

When he came back he thought it best to break my heart for another girl(all water under the bridge). We were young.

Later, she would come to my birthday party and I think she is a great person.

By the way we were only 16 lol..

But, one thing I knew that he didn't know is that we

were going to be married one day. Men seem the last to know these little details.

I fell away from church, thought I was a big girl and went on my own.

Probably not the best decisison that I have made.

I went from one party to another, not caring about my self.

I was preg a year after we broke up, and God saw where I was and

who I was with . God took my angel , who was too perfect for this world

took him to be with him. I went on after graduation , and got pregnant twice more

After the second miscarriage they diagnosed me with

antiphosphilipid antibody syndrome. It is a blood clotting disorder, what would happen

is that the blood would clot and the baby wouldn't get nutrients from the umbilical cord.

I was angry at God and at the time couldn't understand what I was doing

wrong(meanwhile God could have wrote a book on my transgressions lol.

Jacob during this time apart. Was also losing God little by little.

He preached for his church, but soon he would feel betrayed.

He made some mistakes (nothing huge) but felt like the church and the church family he so cared for turned there back on him.

His relationship ended with the sweet girl (who was nothing like me at the time.

Jacob and I talked throughout his junior and my senior year. (yes folks he is 4 whole months younger than I.

I was in a 2 and a half year relationship, with this boy after highschool.

I finally found out he cheated on mme and finally I moved on.

I worked at sunoco at the time....

Jacob would come in time after time..he would stop in when I worked midnight shift.

He would tell me later , that he hated seeing me working night shift alone.

Finally after about 2 months July of 2001, 3 years and 1 month after breaking my heart....

he asked me out again..well , that is how we started again...we have been together almost 8 years now...married for 5...

We have had our ups and downs...he has taught me that love is not perfect but it is well worth the ride...

We have found God , (low and behold he has been there the entire time, imagine that)

God has blessed us, he has put us through trials..and because of that we are stronger than ever.

We have 2 amazing children (who will each have their own story) Isaac has just turned 5 and Lucas who will be 3 in August. This is our family...we will raise them with Gods help..

they will kknow that when things get bad...and you feel you have noone...God will be lifting you into his arms and carry you through...

Jacob , being the wonderful man he is has "adopted" my angel babies.

He has held me when I still mourn my babies..it may sound crazy and noone is completly sane.

But we are husband and wife...and he has shown me so much .. and by him doing that is one of the best gifts he could have gave me. crazy or not it meant alot to me.
